Questions families often ask

Does it cost anything?

No. There is no charge for any of our support.

How quickly will someone respond?

A member of our team will get back to you within one working day. If you’re at Goa Medical College, you can also find us on the medical oncology ward, Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm.

Do I need a doctor’s referral?

No. You can reach out to us yourself, at any stage: before a diagnosis is confirmed, during treatment or after it ends.

Do you only help children?

Children are at the heart of our work, but we also support teenagers and young adults up to 40, and we help adults over 40 case by case. Who we help →

What should I have ready when I contact you?

Nothing at all. If you have any scans, test results or doctor’s reports, bring them along or share them with us. They help us understand how best to support you.

My child is being treated outside Goa. Can you still help?

Absolutely. If your child moves out of Goa for treatment, or you live elsewhere, we work with partners like CanKids KidsCan so your family’s support carries on without a break.

Treatment is over. Is there still support for us?

Yes. Life after treatment brings its own questions, and we stay with families through follow-ups and the return to school.

Is this an emergency service?

No. If your child is very unwell, please go to the nearest hospital or call 108 right away.
